Art installation by Katy Fleischman

Opening Reception April 5th 6-10pm
Exhibit on display through May 1st

TOIC Temescal ~ 4731 Telegraph Ave, Oakland.

Katy says, "The works are paintings and mono-type prints which react upon one another to create a thread of images and spaces forming as opposed to one particular idea or truth. The work simply seeks to create a peace of mind and sense of comfort in the vast, inexplicable momentary existence we all experience.  By creating these images I find a childlike state of discovery in between the evolving states of uncertainty we experience as we grow.  I often think about how the same mysterious universe that we are inside of, is also inside of us."
