Nasturtium is a beautiful flower with a slightly peppery taste. They grow all over the Bay Area and are brightly colored (yellow, orange, red, etc.). The name literally means nose tweker or nose twister and it's often confused for watercress. They are low lying, yet eye catching. Get a taste if you can. It comes in short supply.
