Tara's Organic Ice Cream is certified organic by CCOF and NMOCC.
We use all compostable cups, pints, quarts, etc. made from sugarcane, and spoons made from potato starch. We use recycled napkins, bags, paper towels, and actively recycle daily. Even all of our cleaning supplies are environmentally friendly, and we use energy efficient lighting and equipment. At TOIC we go out of our way to reduce our carbon footprint. In fact this is what motivated Tara's to expand to Berkeley CA.
